The maps show electrical power, cell phone, and broadband internet coverage. It says Puerto Cabezas has none of the above. Sorry, JW, you're not really here!

what did yall do this 19 de Julio?

Roger babysat the dogs while Cathy, Kit and I had lunch at Casa Blanca (fantastic Chinese south of Jinotepe). We saw dozens of buses heading north transporting poor folks to Mga for the "fiesta" while also watching some gorgeous boats going the other way, heading for SJDS and good fishing no doubt.

Also had a twisted peep show at the restaurant unfortunately. Some old dude (Nica) pulled up in a snazzy red sport's car. Then a truckful of young Nicas pulled up, and they all did this weird thing in a corner of the restaurant, fondling and the like. I chose not to even turn around, but Cathy and Kit watched the antics, for some reason (YUH-UCK!) Thankfully, they left soon.

Later that afternoon, we delivered Cathy and her slightly lighter baggage to Rivas and Pat. The next part of her vacation will be spent oceanside!

19 de Julio, is celibration of the Triumph of the Revolution of the Sandinistas....

So being another Roman holiday even for some that do not agree with them, (My wife, among others)

I decided to take a few hours off for myself, and to "Recharge" my battery just a little.

This was a Feets log we crossed a little creek on, along a foot/Bicycle path where used to many generations ago ran a train line into the interior, it is located just downstream of the old train crossing..

The ground was so wet we had to build the charcoal (localy sold for about .50 cents) fire on top of cut green saplings to cook our chicken and roasted potatoes...

We, after a fine meal, roasted deep in the rainforrest, (I was not much worried about burning the woods down), We did need the smoke from the fire to chase away unwanted bugs, it was a beautifull dry day for the time of the year and we did get our batteries charged, and then went to a rather remote place to swim...

That foot logs, was the hardest part, with the 200 pound small motorcycle, it tested my skills..I wish you reading this, should try it before laughing at me...

And you may find yourself living in a shotgun shack
And you may find yourself in another part of the world
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile
And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wife
And you may ask yourself-well...how did I get here?

Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/after the moneys gone
Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground.

And you may ask yourself How do I work this?
And you may ask yourself Where is that large automobile?
And you may tell yourself This is not my beautiful house!
And you may tell yourself This is not my beautiful wife!

Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Water dissolving...and water removing
There is water at the bottom of the ocean
Carry the water at the bottom of the ocean
Remove the water at the bottom of the ocean!

And you may ask yourself What is that beautiful house?
And you may ask yourself Where does that highway go?
And you may ask yourself Am I right? ...am I wrong?
And you may tell yourself My god!...what have I done?

Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by/water flowing underground
Into the blue again/in the silent water
Under the rocks and stones/there is water underground.
