Came across this local chocolate bar with coffee and cashews at Small Farmer yesterday. The bar is big, 160 grams, with lots of nuts. They offer a variety of flavors, this bar cost 43 cords. According to the wrapper, "El Castillo del Cacao makes chocolate from cacao varieties found in Nicaragua. We select organic and special flavored cacaos from small scale producers and farmer cooperatives from Rio Blanco and Matiguas in the North, to Volcan Mombacho and Rio San Juan in the South of Nicaragua."

Ingredients are cacao, sugar, cashews, and coffee. They welcome visitors to Matagalpa to see how their product is made and more information can be found at their website at www.elcastillodelcacao.com.

While this is no Hershey's bar, it is the best local chocolate product we've found to date.

I tried the Cashew bar, it tastes like it needs more cashews with some crunch.
