I've had these shoes for several years now, and they're the best dress shoes I've ever had. A small shop in Esteli made them, from the south side of the cathedral, a block and a half east, on the left.
They took careful measurements of my feet, and I picked the leather and the fancy stiching (they mainly make cowboy boots) and when they were ready I went to try them on. They fit right the first time, and cost U$37.
If you go, they'll make just about anything out of leather, but you really have to be there to pester them, or they won't get it done.
