Have been told today that on Monday, 19th May the market in Granada will be closed and that there will be a parade/procession protesting the current transport strike. Can't verify the accuracy of this, but a reliable local taxi driver gave the information.

I heard of a couple groups that are calling for protests next week, I will try and get the full list :) yeah list.

Power in the town center of Granada has been good (this past week) - maybe an average of 20 minutes a day without power - water almost all the time. Some of the outlying areas and barrios have had power cut for three to four hours per day this past week.
