    Well you can always drive them down. I brought down some model S modules about 2-3 years ago and they've been great. Have had bad luck with inverters though, getting moisture damage or lightning...

    Why not just have a posero clean out the hole and line the well with brick? That seems to be the most common practice to build a well in Nicaragua that will last.
