Default About the 8 (to date) municipal coups

An article by Tim Rogers in the Nica Times suggests what to me is a rather timid response to the practice. The article quotes lawmaker Agustín Jarquín, who is president of the Commission on Population, Development and Municipalities, as saying the removals raise “political and institutional challenges," and calling the role of the FSLN dominated Supreme Court "suspicious."

There is a legal procedure for removing a mayor that takes 90 days and numerous legal steps. In the case of the mayor of Boaco, the procedure occurred by physical force and took less than 90 minutes.

Article is available by subscription only, through www.ticotimes.net

I love how Jarquin basically says they think what's happening is wrong, but they can only make suggestions to the Sandinista supreme court. In other words, we can't do a damn thing about it because there are no checks and balances here.

Here's the article on the internet, I didn't have to pay for it to read it.

Thanks BMP, I didn't realize it was one of the freebies.

Nicaragua's lack of a 2nd Amendment (America's checks and balances) did not stop the Orteguistas from staging the 1979 coup or the current municipal coups. Ours is a world government by the aggressive use of force. Might doesn't make right, it only makes power.

Relax.Jonh. El Pueblo Presidente is just doing the work of the "People"
He has his own cross to bear. Could you imagine having to wake up every morning to Rosario? I"d rather stick pins in my eyes.

The 'Nistas who attacked the mayor of Sta. Lucia and his wife certainly wanted bloodshed.

petty $hit bloodshed/violence is WAY different than a civil war. it's like comparing a fist fight with a gun fight
for that matter bloodshed(violence) happens everyday all over the world.
thou the nistas like to instigate but most are chicken$hit who run at the sound of a gun, much like the mortar throwers/thugs .

The 79 revolution was a perfect example of the 2nd amendment reset clause. America has yet to use theirs.

Ours is a world government by the aggressive use of force. Might doesn't make right, it only makes power.
Now you're starting to get it.

Old men love to send young men to die. Armchair generals abound. It makes them feel important.

And they wonder why we won't listen to them anymore.

The Truther is back! Let the games begin!
After being shunned by virtually the entire ex-pat community in Granada on the 4th. of July, he"s returned to Cyberspace to continue his Looneyleft rant.
    God bless him.

Yep! Went to visit my brother today and he pointed to this scar in his eyebrow and told my wife and step son....pointing to me....and said, "he did this to me."

Well, truth be known, he was 9 years older than me and was whipping on all of the young ones when I let go with this can of beans and beaned him good.

Now you two brothers are gonna have to do something constructive and quit your squabble, lest a can of beans flies out of nowhere...

Evasions, misdirection, lies, character attacks- anything to avoid the fact that you accused me of being a criminal.
You do remember, don"t you? Your statements spoke for themselves. You said Costa Rica would not allow me in their country, and that the U.S. would lock me up. Prove it.
Tell you what. I will give you my passport number and you can talk to the U.S. embassies in Managua and San Jose , as well as the Costa Rican consulate. Hell, maybe their is a reward. Unless you lied.
Either I am a criminal- or you are a liar.
You are a person without a shred of decency, Jason.

Uhh, no I didn't. Go back and reread it. Better yet, go back and reread 20 Years and maybe this time you'll get it.

Said the man who spent the better part of the past 2 decades screwing poor girls with his SS check and cold calling degenerate gamblers on the phone to convince them to empty their bank accounts (in violation of numerous federal laws and the interstate commerce clause).

What do you know about decency? You really don't want to go down that road.

On May 19th. you wrote"you cannot leave Nicaragua. Costa Rica won¨t have you and the U.S. will lock you up". You added¨( "and you and I both know what I am talking about") These are bald faced lies. I was in Costa Rica last month and had no problem. And the U.S. did"nt lock lock me up! Stop the spin and prove your lying statement.
Perhaps you should have taken a reading comprehension course at the Mexican Diploma Factory where you bought your "degree"
The problem with being a serial liar is that you constantly have to invent new lies in an attempt to cover the old ones. As far as decency goes, what would you know about it?
What exactly is it in your character that you attempt to smear anyone who disagrees with you?
You have raised the game to a new level by your latest personal attack. You can"t beat me by attacking me with smears that you can"t prove and continuing to scream " I am superior." You clearly are not. And your nutjob view of the world confirms it.
Time to prove your outrageous, lying, statements, or STFU.
