    Default ???

Has anyone (on this forum) in the US flown to Nicaragua from the US lately or know of anyone who has?
Is there a MIA / MGA flight any more (currently)? USA / MGA?
If so, what airline is flying and at what cost?
Is there still a 90 day renewal?
I really do not feel like routing myself through 2-3 countries or busing.

OK, so I found $520 R/T flights in May and June on American.....are these really flying?
I get the extra time must be taken and expense for covid testing, but are these flights really flying now? I have both shots btw.
Sounds like a dumb question at this point.

Looks like flights to the island are weekly, not twice daily.

Christ....I wonder if the panga runs daily now.

...if you have to ask you can't afford it.....
If the CR border stays open it may take the wind out of Aviana's and Copa's sails

Avianca or charters on Eastern MIA - MGA, also been occasional Copa flts via PTY, also Avianca from other cities via Sal. MIA flts approx $750 rt. NO ONE ELSE IS FLYING TO MGA. Other airlines sell tickets for coming month or 2, then cancel few weeks in advance, been doing it for a yr.

Increased flights on Costena, at least 3 times a week.

Increased panga trips. Almost daily last I saw (corresponds with flights).

Test in MGA is $150, test in FL can be had for $75, so add that to costs.

I would wait a few weeks before pulling the trigger. Island is inundated with Semana Santa visitors so who knows what will happen Covid wise, and potentially change incoming flights and boats.

And yes the CR border opening the 5th (provided it stays open) may help reduce fares into MGA.

So, coming back to CR from US,, no Covid test to enter CR?

This is looking more and more like the solution.
TicaBus from Estelí was $54; insurance $60; super cheap Spirit out $100+; and hope things change for the flight back (and they probably will).

Get lucky and come back inexpensively on AeroMexico 1st class with two free 70 lb bags.
